The only light I see

"How is it that you're able to smile so brightly, yet look so worried?"

This used more ink than my previous drawing :I

I present to you all, one of the main characters of Project CoaM;
Iola Ianthina

The flower on her head is supposed to be an Iris flower.

"Bedridden due to an unknown illness, 17 year old iola spends most of her days looking out her bedroom window into the sea of clouds bellow her."

She is suffering from "Autonomic Dysfunction" which didn't become widespread and common medical knowledge until the start of the 20th century. With the story taking place at 1938, the doctors were left dumbfounded. They kept her under observation in the ianthina household found at the innermost circle of upper Brighton, nicknamed "Cloud 9".

I drew this while listening to only ONE SONG on repeat for 3 hours.
